Where making music begins........

My life centers around the piano bench...helping students to develop playing skills through engaging, tech-savvy instruction, on and off the bench that will ignite their musical imagination for life.

I provide professional instruction in traditional, and contemporary music. Students can prepare for classical exams with the Royal Conservatory of Music or contemporary exams with Conservatory Canada. Both are recognized for credits within our education system.

I hope that everyone who shares in my studio will come away their own personal gift of music.

I consider myself a lifelong learner, music educator, wife and parent. Graduating with an ARCT in Piano Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music , I continually attend workshops and teaching seminars offered through the Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada. With over 30 years of teaching experience I have had many students win scholarships at Music Festivals, be invited to attend Provincials, receive First Class Honours achievements through the Conservatory Examinations and continue their music studies at the Post-Secondary Level.

I enjoy discovering innovative teaching methods , ideas and incentives to keep my students motivated and enjoying their path of musical discovery. Teaching to suit your interests is a priority and I offer lessons with a blend of Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Improv to encourage creativity.
